Good morning,

This was something I’d been wanting to do for a while, and so with the new blog each sunday there will be a roundup of what’s happened on the blog, what’s to come for the week ahead; and a roundup of things that have caught my eye during the week (unlike spotlights these will be completely random).

As we finish out the week, I am currently reading:

• The Sport of Wings by Anna Stephens (ARC)
• Her Bloody Vengeance by N.C. Scrimgeour (ARC)
• Mrs. Robinson’s Disgrace: The Private Diary of a Victorian Lady – Kate Summerscale (non-fiction)

In terms of anime, I am currently watching:

• The Ogre’s Bride (current season)
• Though I am an inept Villainess (current season)

And for Saturday Night anime, we have just finished The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, and are finishing up Hakuoki, and we will be moving on to The Ancient Magus Bride and My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer.

Other Releases:

• On Monday Studio Heartbreak released their animated short ‘The Lovers’ which I backed when it was on kickstarter. It is now available to watch free on youtube, and I highly recommend checking it out here.
• The Chosen One Con by Trudie Skies released on the 1st, and you can check out some of the amazing reviews here (Tiny Elf Arcanist) and here (ThatReader).
• The Blood of the Dawnwalker (trailer) is out now: It’s an open-world dark fantasy action RPG set in 14th-century Europe. You play as Coen, human by day and vampire by night, fighting to save your family in a story shaped by your actions and the secrets you uncover.  (I have been waiting for this release, and I have a long weekend next weekend where I fully intend to dive into this game).
