Weekly Roundup

Good afternoon!

It’s Sunday again and I am here with another roundup. It’s been a long week, and I have been fighting with a flare up due to the weather changing as autumn well and truly gets into gear; but now I am enjoying a long weekend and getting to relax.

I’ve been playing The Blood of the Dawnwalker and I am loving it so far, although I am absolutely terrible at the fighting so that will be a work in progress (I was exactly the same with Clair Obscur); but give me creepy, scary vampires and I am content.

I’m continuing to watch The Ogre’s Bride and Though I am an Inept Villainess although both will be ending soon; and after finishing season one of Hakuoki last night we’ve decided to continue with season two rather than moving on to The Ancient Magus Bridge just yet, and we started My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer which is already a lot of fun.

In terms of reading, I’ve had a flurry of approvals on netgalley so getting to work on those, but I’ve also picked up an old re-read of The Last Dragonlord by Joanne Bertin which was my first introduction to shifters a long time ago.

Vow of Ashes ended up being a DNF. It might be one that I will return to, as I feel it was more my mood than anything to do with the book itself.
